TRAIN FOR FUNCTION & STRENGTH
Blue Fusion Fitness is Waltham’s only functional wellness studio that offers a variety of small Group Exercise Classes and Integrative Personal Training for both In-Person and Virtually. As a Functional Wellness studio, our goal is to help clients be on a path of continuous healthy lifestyle no matter the stressors thrown at them. We educate and encourage our clients to attend a variety of small group classes to get them strong, improve endurance and flexibility. Our Integrative and Corrective Personal Training include nutrition and lifestyle coaching that can help achieve balance. In the end, our goal is to help our clients move fluidly everyday and balance their body and mind.
We teach our clients a new awareness of their body positioning and alignment during exercise to prevent injury, improve daily movements and discover their own capability to push themselves to new limits. Our classes are designed to take our clients to their own level of fitness - we believe that exercises should be done according to one's fitness level. Through our diverse group class offerings and Personal Training, we help our clients be their healthiest self by increasing their strength, endurance, flexibility.
We are currently offering Covid-19 Safe Group Classes in our studio for 6-8 clients and one-on-one Personal Training. Check our most current class offerings here.
Face covering is currently optional for vaccinated clients and staff. Please bring your vaccination card or a picture of it to our front desk staff or teacher. Our studio requires you to be at least 6 feet of physical distancing at all times. Our studios have windows, air conditioning, air purifiers and cleaning protocols in place that have kept everyone safe since July of 2020. We are also very proud to say that over 95% of our members and 100% of our staff have had their Covid-19 vaccine.
We have Live-Streaming Classes everyday at different times, which you can attend live or receive a recording link to do at a later time (click here to see our schedule). We also have an extensive Video-On-Demand Library (click here to preview).
We are also offering a different type of Personal Training - we use an Integrative and Corrective approach that will teach you to exercise in optimal alignment, improve breathing, and control movements. Strength + Cardio
This 45-minute circuit class will focus on compound functional movements that will make you strong, increase heart rate and burn fat. This class includes a cardio set at the end of each circuit that can be modified for beginners. You will use free weights, resistance bands, and your own body weight. Suitable for all levels of fitness.
This 35-minute interval training class offers a wide variety of strength and movement practice in a fast-paced interval environment. Simple calisthenic movements that involves the whole body will be performed in 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Modifications will be offered to clients at beginner fitness level.
Sweat it out and join us for our very own brand of high energy 45 minute traditional indoor cycling class. Led by our motivating instructors and powerful and energizing music, pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills in a high intensity interval setting. All fitness levels are welcome.
This Barre class is for anyone that is looking for a quick but challenging workout. We use functional and dance-based movements that will help you tone your upper body, leg, hip, gluteals and abdominal muscles in just 45 minutes. We use light weights, resistance bands, Pilates ball and many more.
Core Yoga is a 45-minute vinyasa style class that continually focuses on engaging all muscles of the abdomen. We will work on building strength and awareness of the core throughout the class. Our Functional Yoga class is a non-traditional yoga class, which focuses on the strength and flexibility of the hips, shoulders and back. Our new Yoga For Health class is a gentle class that focuses on breath and increasing mobility and flexibility of the joints.
Stretch & Release
Learn self-myofascial release techniques through the use of the foam roller and a tennis ball. Using a foam roller as part of your training program will improve your flexibility, function, performance, and reduce injuries.The class ends with some simple stretches to maintain muscle and joint fluidity.
